I'm not super into AUs right now, but I enjoy a bonkers crossover.

Current fandom interests:

****- DISCWORLD!! I have read a bunch of the books and barely any fic, plz rec me some.*****

- Edit July '24: Interview With The Vampire (TV). Armand is my problematic fave & I am interested in seeing him in sexual situations, including with Louis where it doesn't quite feel right. Louis/Daniel is fun but I'm not looking for a fix-it / situation that paints over the messiness of canon. Louis & Claudia POV is interesting, and Louis & Claudia are more interesting than Lestat to me. Canon-typical violence / sexuality is good by me; if the story has dicks in holes I want there to be a lot of feelings attached (and ideally includes other ways of engaging with bodies too).

- Our Flag Means Death. I'd like some fic that explores all the stuff that happens in S2!

caveat: i don't want to see Izzy Hands fuck. (sorry!) I do think he has some interesting feelings in S2 & I'm rooting for him as a cheesed-off ghost.
I like the main ship and canon secondary ships! Zheng/Olu? Andy/Jim/(Olu?) Pete/Lucius? Anne/Mary? Jackie/Swede?
I like the fucked up elements of S2 and am curious about exploring them

I like gen, I like smut, I tend to also want the smut to be in-character. I like character explorations and backstory. I like Crack Taken Seriously.

I tend to ship characters that are queer & together in canon, or close enough to count (ex. Aziraphale/Crowley, Gideon/Harrow, Dream/Hob, Starstruck Gunner Channel, Sad Rat Man/Garthy O'Brien)

SUPER LATE EDIT: I also got VERY into Nimona (film). I'm not sure what I would want out of Nimona (film) fic except I love them, and don't want to see the characters au'd into being a literal family. The setting is too INTERESTING.

General likes: humor, backstory, character study, canon queer characters, stories about developing intimacy (friendship or romantic), fluff, crack, whimsy. I prefer that M/M ships be canon, but otherwise chaos reigns.

I like ‘canon-typical’ levels of violence/weirdness/sexiness. I am generally pro-smut/kink, but think it works best when there’s humor (and maybe character development) in the pwp. There are very few kink-content things that are a hard no for me if the fic tells us why the character likes it (or, in canons with fucked-up interpersonal dynamics, why they’re doing it). I also like silly gen and weird gen! No need to get NSFW if you don't wanna! I’m open to (anon) questions in the comments.

Do Not Wants: menstrual content, graphic depictions of pregnancy complications, de-aging and/or aus where the characters have a parent/child relationship that doesn’t exist in canon (backstory talking about when a character was a child is fine). Ageplay is iffy. Making a character trans is cool, but I want to see them comfortable in their skin/self and being loved, without emphasizing/graphically depicting trans-specific trauma.
Minor Squicks: combining food and sex (including watching someone’s mouth as they eat)

Our Flag Means Death: There’s so much! I would love if you recorded some of it for me.

Interests: Ed/Stede figuring their shit out 5ever, Edward POV/character study, humor that acknowledges that Stede is just as nuts as Ed if not more, Jim/Olu, Jim-centric fic and backstory (Spanish Jackie?), Lucius POV (Lucius/Pete, Lucius/Fang, both?), how any of the Revenge crew ended up on the ship in the first place (how did Frenchie get so good at grifting?), the widow’s club, past Edward/Calico Jack where Jack is a nasty nasty man.

Izzy Hands does nothing for me (except as a foil for the other guys). Sorry, 80% of OFMD fandom!

The Locked Tomb Trilogy (Gideon the Ninth + Harrow the Ninth) I thiiiink I’m open to anything here, but interests off the top of my head are: Gideon/Harrow, Gideon & Harrow in a nonsense situation where they have to get along, Harrow/Ianthe?, weird canon backstory stuff (including Augustine/Mercymorn/John), fics that mock God. Also interested in stuff featuring the necro/cav pairs from other houses.

Dimension 20 (Unsleeping City, Fantasy High, Misfits and Magic, Mice and Murder, Starstruck, Escape from Bloodkeep – actually anything *except* Crown of Candy. I will have finished Pirates of Leviathan by swappin’ time.)

I haven’t read too much fic for D20! But my faves are:

Fantasy High: Fig/Ayda, Kristin Applebees in general, Zelda/Gorgug. I love the chaos of Fabian’s life but am not really into shipping him with Riz or other non-canon M/M ships (unless it’s very funny). The Bad Kids being friends is great.

Unsleeping City: I love them all but especially like (Season 2) Pete & Sofia’s friendship, and Ricky & Cody’s dynamic.
Bloodkeep: Leiland is my favorite.

The Seven: Literally everyone

Starstruck: Barry/Sid, Everybody/Gnosis, Sundry Sidney in general

*definitely leaning funny gen/not-smut for this fandom! Except for Starstruck. And maybe The Seven, if that exists. (*whispers* does RPF exist for The Seven)

What We Do In The Shadows (TV): I hear this is a smut-heavy ao3 fandom and am generally down for whatever as long as everyone is having a good time. I think the evolution of Nandor/Guillermo’s relationship is fascinating. I’m wondering what’s out there in terms of Nadja-centric fic, openly bi Laszlo, and depictions of their relationship. Also fic that exists for pure comedy reasons! Movie canon is also welcome, as long as it’s fun/funny.

Hi!! Thank you for potentially making me a thing! There is a whole lot that I like/find interesting, and a lot that I would like that I probably haven't even thought of. A lot of things I like are sfw/genfic, but I like nsfw too.

General likes: humor, backstory, character study, canon queer characters, stories about developing intimacy (friendship or romantic), fluff, crack, whimsy
Do Not Wants: menstrual content, soulmates, “bloodplay” in a kink sense (canonical vampires biting things is okay).
Nsfw-wise I am tired of stories that center on two cis men having penetrative sex. Any variation (one or both characters is not a cis man, two cis men doing something other than having penetrative sex) is great.

Gen/SFW Likes: TMA is an office comedy, post-canon (either fix-it for jmart or exploring what’s up with Georgie etc afterwards), Jon and/or Martin having feelings, anything centering on female characters (Georgie and Melanie together or separately, but also: Basira? Annabelle? Gertrude? Agnes/Jude? Helen? etc), anything involving the cat. Canon-typical weirdness/horror is cool as long as it’s tagged. I think Peter is a more interesting villain than Elias (though I like what happens to Elias in season 5). I'm more interested in stuff set in the canon world than in aus (although 'mundane au for jmart to work out their feelings' works for me).
NSFW likes: ace jon and allo martin figure it out, the Beholding is sexy voyeurism, a statement/artifact made them do it, any F/F, feral werewolf Daisy (incl dasira and/or jondaisy).
NSFW dislikes: I do not care about Sexy Elias one bit. I also find it hard to get attached to non-canon M/M.

Hello #ITPE 2020! Wrote this quick to make sure I'd get it in on time, hope there's enough info :)

General likes: crack, humor, whimsy, found family, character study, characters figuring out how to have feelings or have friends. I like genfic and I'm generally cool with nsfw content, though my current preference for mature/explicit fic is that pairings have at least one female character.

I like using "canon-typical" as a guideline for levels of violence/angst (i.e., don't go darker than canon). I don't want darkfic for my comedy fandoms (though fluff/crack for horror fandoms is cool).

Dislikes: Hard no on cutting/blood as sex/kink. Moderate squick around combining food and sex. I veer away from fics that center on a character explaining their gender identity/sexual orientation; I like it when they have the opportunity to just be it.

Fandoms requested:

Magnus Archives - What I really want and haven't sought out is the JonMartin 'oh shit I have feelings, what do I do' fics. We don't really get to see that side of the relationship develop, you know? I want the ace romance fics that don't have to do with negotiating sex at all, but give us a window into why/how they love each other.

Other pairings* or no pairings are cool too - I am not really interested in sex-focused/explicit fic for Magnus characters, actually? Though I do want to know more about all of them. Canon-typical horror levels are a-ok.

*General preference in this one for relationship-exploration/scenarios that could possibly be canon-compliant (unless it's very, very funny).

The Good Place - Canon-typical silliness, any pairing or no pairing, except Michael/Eleanor.

Locked Tomb Trilogy - It'd be fun to have something shippier than canon; interpret that however you want.

Good Omens - Been here for a while so I like fics that put a different spin on things. I like: depictions of Crowley and/or Aziraphale as genderfluid, Crowley & Anathema friendship, Outsider POV, fic centering on minor characters, silly genfic, fun AU/crossovers, cracky smut. Not interested in Gabriel/Beelzebub as a ship.

Welcome to Night Vale - pretty much anything as long as the vibe is right.

I also enjoy: weird little Yuletide fandoms that one doesn't need much/any context for (e.g., music videos, anthropomorphized objects), fun crossovers (Untitled Goose Game, Great British Bake Off, Queer Eye, MBMBAM), oddball historical RPF, female character-heavy fandoms (GLOW, Ocean's 8), original fic.

My ao3 is secretsofluftnarp and I've written fic in my top 5 listed fandoms, though I don't recommend anything published before 2016 (unless you like this TAH parody bit).

For Informal Twitter Podfic Exchange 2019!

Hi! Thanks for reading!

General: I really go in for funny + heartwarming, couples and/or friends figuring out how to help each other (esp when the world outside is a strange, strange place). Also: crack. Also: smut. I'd like to know more femslash (so long as it's not suuuuper angsty), and more fic that isn't super couple-focused (although I'm realllllly flexible about that.)

General squicks/dislikes: vampires, kinks with a lot of blood. (I honestly don't think there's anything else on the 'no' kink list, if it's a fic where the kink is the point.) I'm not into fics that have a character worrying about their sexual orientation/gender identity as a main plot point. I don't love going above and beyond canon-typical violence/harm, or angst for angst's sake that doesn't get better.

Fandom Requests:
1. Good Omens (either canon): Yes Aziraphale/Crowley is sweet/romantic but also they're really funny? Aziraphale and Crowley in awkward social situations throughout history! Aziraphale and Crowley don't know how to act like people! Crowley is a snake sometimes! (I also like it when they're sweet/romantic, or are figuring out how to be.)

I also like the idea of Anathema figuring out how to be her own person post-canon/getting to know other characters better. I don't love Newt/Anathema in TV canon, but I'm open to a fic where it's in the background, or rewrites that don't assume they'll be Happily Ever After. (I feel like they might have stuff to work out.)

2. The Good Place: any pairing or no pairing, *except* Eleanor/Michael. Includes the stuff I said above about not being too mean.

3. Doctor Who (Nine + Ten era only): Literally anything. Open to it getting weird.

Also open to Welcome to Night Vale.

Something I just figured out how to do is find & record music fills in GarageBand LiveLoops. (It's more meant to be a live DJ'ing app, so there are infinite dubstep options, but there's a lot of different musical stylings if you poke around.)

I was thinking about doing a bunch and offering them to friends-who-podfic? For ones that are just pre-set samples, I don't think I created anything new, so no need to credit.

For example:
- a sampling of orchestral themes that sound like dramatic movie music

- some of the loops from the 'chillwave' section that gave me WTNV vibes

I guess if I combine 2 or more samples it counts as something I did? Right now that's just upbeat indie song vibes.
